Legend of the Green Dragon (LoGD) is a web-based remake of the
Legend of the Red Dragon network fantasy RPG very popular in the
golden days of BBSes back in the 90's. While telnet-BBS
incarnations of LORD still do exist to this very moment, a
web-based interface sure rocks.Who said online RPGs need gigabytes
of video RAM to run?
There is little good news for Xbox Live gamers today, as only one
title was released. But, I am glad to see the Ebenezer Gates did
allow his worker drones to actually spend time away from the office
during the holidays. The one title released today looks awesome,
and I know as soon as I return home I'll be checking it out.

create a feeling of vintage decadence and luxury...
The game uses all the standard tricks of the trade: a linear game
model, the widespread health and ammo dumps, Slow-Mo (called
"Tequila time") and a plentiful assortment of weapons ranging from
grenades, sub-machine guns, shotguns to the rocket launcher. Then
it jacks it up a notch with slick stunt-man action mayhem...

offered their condolences to the family. Jim Barnes died Tuesday,
having succumbed to cancer.
